Workshop #1 in our Educational Series was a Success!

Earlier in February we kicked off our Educational Series with the first of five programs developed by GIERS that will be presented throughout 2017.

Acupressure for Anyone: Seva Stress Release, presented by Regina Rosenthal, PT, MA, RYT-200, was geared toward health-care professionals, caregivers, educators, and individuals who benefitted from learning self-care practices and strategies.

We had a very good turnout for the program, and some of our health-care professional attendees even earned continuing education credits.

Time: 1-4PM
Location: CentraState Medical Center, Star & Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus
Jack Aronson Conference Center, Conference Room C

About this Program:

Meditation and transpersonal journaling are the main components of the simple, easy process Lo Anne Mayer used to heal her own grief after the death of her mother and daughter. Unfinished business with loved-ones who have passed keep us from moving into forgiveness of all concerned, including ourselves. If you are holding on to resentment or criticism of your lost loved-one, her book Celestial Conversations is a healing tool that can help you realize that healing is still possible after the death of your loved-one.

The process of focusing on the spirit of human beings has convinced Lo Anne that forgiveness and unconditional love can be found with loved ones beyond the veil. In the Transpersonal Journaling for Healing Grief Workshop, you will receive the tools Lo Anne used to heal her own grief. You will discover your own unique method of self-healing in a supported group environment. This workshop is appropriate for community members and educational & healthcare professionals.

This will be the second of five workshops spanning February to October culminating with our 4th Annual Bounce Back Conference held on December 9th. Dynamic workshop leaders will help us learn important skills, add to our personal survival tool kit and train professionals with powerful strategies to help their students, patients and clients.
